FOTOGALERIE WIEN ON TOUR: FOTOHOF, SALZBURG
Until autumn 2023 FOTOGALERIE WIEN is on tour: During the reconstruction our exhibitions will take place at friendly institutions in Austria and abroad. Our first host in Austria is the FOTOHOF in Salzburg, with whom we present WERKSCHAU XXVII by Christian Wachter. Wachter is an early representative of Austrian auteur photography, but soon opened his work to a politically reflected conceptual photography. Titled Concept versus Photography, the exhibition shows the broad spectrum of Wachter’s work from the 1980s to today.
