Exhibitions
The FOTOGALERIE WIEN currently exhibits seven shows a year including: one Werkschau, one Solo, three exhibitions dedicated to an annual theme of focus, and two other exhibitions curated independent of the theme of focus and Werkschau
Theme of Focus: exhibitions dedicated to a specific topic in photography, takes place throughout the year, includes one catalogue compiling the artists’ contributions and summarizing the exhibitions at the end of the year
Solo: This series of exhibitions is to serve as a platform and springboard to artists who are at the beginning of their career, once a year
Werkschau: a retrospective for a well-known Austrian photography artist,once a year, accompanied by a catalogue
Exchange exhibition (dedicated to the annual with galleries abroad)

Existence does not occur in isolation, but through relationships. People, things, and environments are embedded in a network of complex and dynamic fields of relations. These relations are constantly shifting through ongoing processes of action and interaction. Identities form, stability emerges, and dependencies or ruptures occur.
